Released November 8, 2019 by Electronic Arts, this game got solid reviews. Metacritic 73/100 for PC, Steam review Mixed to Positive. But many say this is the best NFS since Underground 2. In my opinion, this is the “NFS that balances street racing and police chase.”
What makes NFS Heat different from other NFS series? The day/night system is completely different. Daytime = legal races at Speedhunters Showdown. Nighttime = more intense and risky illegal street racing with police. Of course, the car modification is also very deep, with thousands of combinations. Can you imagine, buddy?
But unfortunately, this game has no additional DLC and the progression is a bit grindy. But for a single racing game, the content is already quite a lot. If you want a more realistic racing game, check out CarX Street which is more simulation-based. Or Forza Horizon 6 which is very open-world.
