Each run starts as your survivor steps out of an escape pod. The area is quiet, and the music feels really calm. But that only lasts a few seconds… then a horde of low-level monsters attacks.
It’s full action from start to finish. You’ll also collect more than 110 items, whose effects can stack.
But honestly, the intensity can get extreme, and sometimes it’s exhausting to play. Long sessions wear me out. There’s really no breathing room. I personally prefer something more relaxed, like Hades II.
